Any applicable numerical data set can be obtained but some examples are: - Age, height, weight, etc of players on a particular sports team (ie baseball, football, soccer, hockey, etc) that can be looked up from team roster data - An informal poll or survey asking a question to 20-40 people (ie age, height, distance traveling to work, pets owned, etc) - A data set from a statistical study that is published online After obtaining the data set, identify the population from which the samples were obtained. For example, if you took ages of players on the New York Jets, the population would be NFL players and the sample would be NY Jets players. Then, create a frequency distribution and a histogram for the data set to visually represent the data set. After creating the frequency distribution and histogram, calculate the mean, median, mode, range, and standard deviation for the data set. Using Excel is recommended for performing these calculations but they can be performed using a calculator or any other online calculation tools. Lastly, create a boxplot for the dataset showing the max and min values along with the Quartiles
