Interesting post you have here. I have heard of silicon valley before, but not about the bank. As a former banker, I know that concentration risks were the major problems of banks in Nigeria back in the day. Once a bank specializes in only one sector of the economy, any run on that sector becomes an automatic run on the bank's liquidity. Therefore, concentration risks can trigger many other types of risks and crystallize them to the point of organizational failure. That is because these risks do not appear to exist alone but are all interconnected in one way or the other. But this is much unlike the case of Nikola corporation where greed was the underlying cause of bankruptcy.
