• Does the level of discrimination in the Canadian workforce surprise you?
• If asked in a job interview What does EDI mean to you?, how would you answer? What factors should be included to characterize a response as a meaningful one?
• Another question that might be asked in an interview is What is the most challenging aspect of working in a diverse and equitable environment? Again, how would you answer and how should the interviewer evaluate the responses?
• Divide into small groups and design a series of questions that establish the organizations credentials regarding EDI. In addition, discuss what might be the best responses to those questions from an interviewee.
• In different small groups, design an advertising campaign that demonstrates a hypothetical organizations commitment to EDI. This particular advertisement will be a full page in major Canadian newspapers.
