General Overview:

For this assignment, students will be each individually creating their own $1$:$10$ scale graphic image of a

given construction condition.

Wall section detail, showing roof to wall connection including parapet. Steel structure and

incombustible construction.

Students will be provided with a rough section sketch of a typical construction condition $($see next page$),$

and will be tasked with drafting a detail of it that would be suitable for a set of construction documents.

Students are encouraged to look up other relevant construction details for cues on graphics and

presentation, pay attention to the relative scale of materials and use appropriate hatches, linetypes and

lineweights, your detail should look like it would not be out of place in a set of construction documents.

Students must complete their assignments on their own, no teams or groups.

Submission:

Submit an$11$X$17$ PDF of your assignment to Brightspace by Feb. $11$th end of day

including the graphic image of the detail and a title block with student name, student number,

course name, assignment title, and date. Also include the digital file you used to create the

detail, CAD or Revit. Please do not zip, upload files separately. $1$:$10$ scale

Provide generic industry terms as call$-$out notes for all materials and products.
