Globalization and becoming a global citizen have its benefits as well as the negative side of it.  When it comes to international drug trafficking, the implications and ethical issues can vary widely.  In creating a society where everything is available to everyone across the globe, this would include the drugs that these international drug traffickers are pushing onto the streets around the world.  While this is already happening, the ease of access can intensify with globalization.  This would result in more murders, more drug addicts, and more of the effects of drugs everywhere.  This could be devastating if there is not a universal way of handling these things.  On the other side of this, ethically, who would police these drug traffickers?  While the United States has already begun doing this throughout the world when it comes to the effects of drugs in the United States, there would likely need to be a global force to fight drug traffickers just like there were international task forces setup for the global war on terror.  The United States is currently pushing to make drug traffickers easier to internationally access by classifying them in the same category as a terrorist.  There are no easy solutions to this.  When the drugs are as easy to access around the world as they are in places like the United States, the consequences can be endless and unforeseen.  

What do we do with the addicts?  

What do we do when we capture the traffickers? If globalization continues at the rate that it is, there will really need to be some kind of new world order where borders are not recognized.  This would likely lead to war itself. There is likely no real, good solution to this.  Drug traffickers will always exist just like the problems that come with it will always exist?
