For this weeks discussion topic regarding selecting an organization and how they use the different components of the marketing mix (4 P's), I chose a franchise that everyone globally is familiar with, I chose McDonalds for my discussion response. As far as for the PRODUCT, McDonalds offers a wide variety of food and drink choices for all consumers to chose from, which is good quality meals and products for fast food consumers. As far as the place, you can find MCDonalds stratigically placed convienently all around the world, which allows great access for anyone on the go and looking for a fast foodie fix. McDonalds franchises are continuing to grow and pop up all over the world, again in many convenient locations. When we think of the PRICE, you can not get more budget friendly than McDonalds menu prices, which targets consumers on a budget. When I think of PROMOTION, for McDonalds, I always think of those catchy jingles and eye catching commercials showing off their delicious foods and drinks from their menus.
