Health Study Database
A system is needed to track data for a dietary study. Volunteers participants are required to visit one of several locations in their area to ensure data is measured and recorded accurately. Each location has one or more technicians working, and a technician is assigned to one location. It is possible that a technicians location could change, but the system does not need to record a history of locations. The system also is to record a technicians office number at a given location. Not all technicians are assigned an office, but for those that are, each is assigned their own private office.
Participant data includes name, dateofbirth, gender, height, email, and phone number. In addition, data for health indicators biomarkers including overall weight, percentage body fat, blood pressure, AC and blood ApoB levels are to be taken and recorded over varying time intervals. The system needs to be flexible enough to add additional biomarkers in the future. The name of each biomarker needs to be recorded along with the base units. As an example, Body Weight
with a unit of Kilogram.
A participants weight, percentage body fat, and blood pressure are to be recorded every month, and blood AC and ApoB levels are read and recorded roughly once every two months. When a biomarker is read, the value, date, and the technician are to be recorded.
