Hello class,

The topic I chose to explore was "scholarships" and "grants". I know what scholarships and grants are but I have never really looked into them or done research about them. I never realized there was so many different kind of grants. I also didn't know there was such thing as scholarship scams which I feel is good to know what to look for when filling out scholarships. As I read more abut the topics I learned about institutional, federal, emergency, and state grants. I also learned more about the different scholarships that Clark College offers. The difference between scholarships and grants is grants are based on financial needs and scholarships are based on merit.
