Dunkin' Donuts is an American multinational coffee and doughnut company. It is known for its marketing slogan, "America Runs on Dunkin'". There are more than 11,300 Dunkin' restaurants worldwide over 8,500 restaurants in 41 states across the U.S.A. and over 3,200 international restaurants across 36 countries. The baked goods and coffee chain, is serving more than 3 million customers every day. True to our name, Dunkin' Dunts offers 50+ varieties of donuts, along with premium beverages, bagels, breakfast sandwiches and other baked goods. It was initially founded in 1950 by Bill Rosenberg who opened the first Dunkin' shop in Quincy, MA. He turned it into a franchise chain five years later. Thats what America runs on. ----- Task: Choose 2 positioning criteria for mapping the position against competitors. See the template below and in this week's Module. Select at least 3 competitors to map Dunkin' Donuts against and map them against two criteria in a positioning map (see example below). Explain for each company (Dunkin' Donuts and the three competitors) why you mapped them where they are in your positioning map. Each position needs to be backed up by your research about the companies. For example, if you select high/low price as a criterion, your research should show the coffee prices from a product that all chains have to justify how you mapped all companies in your positioning grid.
