Hello, I am doing a research project and I need help determining what statistical test to use. What I mean by this is at the end of research papers there is a statistical analysis section. It starts with "Statistical analysis will be performed using SPSS .... etc. A (statistic test, anova, t-test, etc) will be used.

The aim of my study is to determine if the use of PRF might result in decreased pain. The control is PRF will do nothing. n=40. PRF is put into the mouth and a routine follow up will be at 3 days, one week, and two weeks. A visual analogue scale will be used to asses the pain levels of the paitents at these follow up appointments. The pain is measured from 0-10 where 0 is no pain, 5 is moderate pain, and worst pain at 10. These measurements will be taken at every follow up interval and compared to the control.
