I am doing a presentation on International Accounting Standards (GAAP vs IFRS) and I have these two items that needs to be addressed:

1) Provide detailed scenarios (these can be case studies, articles, or any published accounting scenario within the last 5 years) in which GAAP and IFRS would handle the situation differently.

2) Explain the challenges inherent with global corporate governance

You can provide up to 3 short scenarios.

The responses does not need to be very long. These two items can be addressed on a one and a half page document.
