hello!i am having a problem with my stats homework... specifically on null/alternative hypotheses.

Q:A validated survey was used to measure internet addiction among 600 students. They found an average score of 30 points.

we know the general population has a score of 28 5. We are interested if the students in this sample have higher internet addiction scores than the general population.

we need to figure out the null and alternative hypotheses and identify if it is one or two-sided.

so far, i feel that the null is Ho: mu< 30i just feel a little lost right now.
