I managed a project that included creating a vaccine accountability and supply report. We took on a new EMR and the platform was not equipped with the availability to create reports using lot, expirations and NDC numbers. We needed this workflow in order to stay state compliant with vaccine free for children. We basically had to ask IT to build us a new report system. For the most part everything went very smooth and reports were accurate, until they weren't, we did not consider the wasy emp[loyees were entering the lot and the NDC, the system only reconized and reported on data that was entered with all of the dashes and , so basicall we had to return and rethink the build, make some changes so that the drop down were not sensitive to the way it was entered.
