AOL 1 - Fireside Chats with Leaders/Interview Assignment-This is an individual assignment. You are to select a leader (from any field of your choice!) and interview that leader on his/her leadership philosophy and experiences. The essence of this assignment is to pick a topic from leadership (any topic as long as it's in leadership, say Authentic Leadership, Servant Leadership, or Self Leadership, etc.) and obtain insight from the interviewee about his or her perspectives on that topic. I leave it to you to decide what's interesting in terms of questions. However, the essence of the assignment is that the reader/viewer should gain a perspective of that leaders' philosophy and also gain insight into what constitutes effective leadership from that particular leader's vantage position. You should first briefly introduce the leader's background and then summarize your observations. The length is two pages , including everything. Do ground your summary in a theory/framework. Using tables to organize information is a plus. Below are the rubrics.
