2. Let's say we want to test the hypothesis that the subjects in the after group had cholesterol lowered to 190 .

1. What type of test do we perform? What is the degrees of freedom?
2. State our null and alternative hypothesis.
3. Using SPSS output (or similar software) do we reject or fail to reject our null hypothesis for our alternative? Please explain using p values and assume a level of significance of = 0.05.
