hey chegg I am not able to visualize and gain confidence why $3$d shearing transformation along x axis would change the coordinates as follows xnew$=$xold, ynew$=$yold$+$sx$*$xold $,$ znew$=$zold$+$sx$*$xold $.$ I am confident about $2$d shearing transformation along x axis and able to visualize it as well that ynew$=$yold and xnew$=$xold$+$sx$*$yold and i do understand that sx$=$change in xold$/$unit yold but how do i visualize $3$d shearing transformation along x axis to gain confidence and what i understand about visualizing process in $3$d plane is transform in $3$d and the take the $2$d projection in x$-$y plane,y$-$z plane and z$-$x plane to understand the transformation in $3$d properly is this correct thinking can you help me gain confidence and clarity
