Parts arrive at a four workstation system according to an exponential interarrival distribution with a mean of ten minutes.The workstation A has 2 machines. Three workstations (B, C, D) each have a single machine. There are 3 part types, each with an equal probablitity of arriving.
The process plans for the part types are given below. The entries are for exponential distributions with the mean processing time parameter given.
