I am learning mobile apps development, and this is the lecture note provided by the school.

I don't know what is the runtime in Android S/W Stack, which looks very abstract.

After I installed the Android Studio, I still couldn't find where the runtime was.

I would like to ask if the core libraries mentioned on the second page is the same as the one on the first page.

How can I find the APIs mentioned on the second page?

Is the Dalvik virtual machine only used when it is compiled?
