Hi, I'm trying to create a public private key pair and send the class TAs that public key by encrypting with their public keys Key ID for (Abbas Acar: 40F447AD for example). I have no idea how to do this and was told to download one of the public keys from https://pgp.mit.edu but every time I put that number in the serach string field nothing is found. I was also told to use GPG (GNU Privacy Guard) cryptographic software suite (available for different operating systems). How can I accomplish this using these tools? I have to then submit the file but I'm unsure how to begin or how to proceed.

edit: I tried to create a key using command line gpg --gen-key but was unsure how to proceed with the questions that followed.
