Systems have a limited set of features, and as time goes on, users may want more features.

These missing features can cause dissatisfaction and problems ( limitations and errors)

To fix this, we can redesign the system to add more features and make it more useful for the users.

This process is called re-engineering, it's not only done to add more features but also as a preparation to make it easier to add more features in the future.
