Hi Tutor, I am currently working on my Maths Internal Assessment for my IB course. Focusing on 3 models to explain the bacteria growth rate. (Gompertz Model, Logistic Model and Richards Model).

I have already tabulated the data for Gompertz and Logistic Model. But I have difficulty inputting raw data into the Richards Model. The screenshots below explain my models and some of my problems with understanding and inputting data into the Richards Model. Specifically, I am unable to understand what the 'shape parameter' of the Richards Model means.
