Initially every group took 2ml of reaction mixture (DCM) which contains 0.0576gm, 4x10^-4 moles of 2-naphthol (given in the lab manual). And this is the limiting reagent After completion of reaction, which is 60 min, we took 0.8ml (this quantity may change for a few groups). So, what amount (gm & mmoles) of limiting reagent is present in this 0,8ml of DCM/Reaction mixture, will be your theoretical yield of ether product. Now, you have both theoretical yield (you just calculated) & experimental yield (it is what you obtain after the experiment).
