Project Goals

The goal of the project is to host a fundraising event with a $20,000 budget and 1,500 attendees that raises $100,000 to financially support Kellys Resources for Homeless Youth.

Project Objectives

The project goals are, by September 27, 2022:

Raise $100,000 for Kellys Resources for Homeless Youth by hosting a fundraising event.

Film and edit a 15 second promotional video that reaches approximately 15,000 views through Tik Tok, Facebook, and Instagram advertising.

Edit and submit a visual to the Toronto Transit Commission in order to advertise the fundraiser on a TTC bus and receive at least 10,000 views.

Obtain a total of 30-40 volunteers from local high schools to help with the event by August 15.

Complete the project using only the funds from our $20,000 budget.

Contact and organize vendors to sell food and merchandise on-site.

Contact local performers (musicians, comedians, dancers, etc.) to see who would be interested in performing at a discounted rate for publicity & charity.

Add a section to our website for customers to sign-up for the event (ads will link to website).

Create the invitation emails for the event.

Invite entire customer base via email.

Have 1,500 attendees
