How Can You Improve Quality?

This exercise will examine the various methods companies use to improve the quality of their goods and services.

Because of the negative consequences of poor quality, organizations try to prevent and correct problems through various approaches to quality control. Supervisors focus on both product quality control$-$improving the product itself$-$and process quality control$-$improving how goods and services are produced and$/$or delivered. Most companies today utilize at least one of the common quality control methods, some companies use two or more methods in combination.
