Case 7 Illinois TookworksAnalysis Outline 1) List the two most important issues or challenges facing the focal firm in the case. Indicate why these issues/challenges are important for the firm in terms of the long-term performance measures that you think will be affected. 2) For each of the two issues/challenges you identified in part 1, cite key symptoms related to this issue/challenge that you identified as you read the case. These should be facts or quotes from the case. 3) For each of the two issues/challenges you identified in part 1, cite your recommended solution to this issue/challenge and describe why you are convinced that this is the best solution available. Be sure to include a strategy framework that you used in your analysis. A strategy framework should be clearly drawn from the textbook and would typically be from the last chapter or two covered before the case. 4) For each of the two recommendations you identified in part 3, describe at least three actions the firm should implement to follow each recommendation and a timeline for each action.
