How do I peer respond to Pedro and ask a question:

Hello class.

The readings this week helped me noticed how important it is for Executive Program Managers to be well rounded, especially when it comes to contracting and logistics. For me, one of the most important takeaways was how closely program management is to the acquisition process. I believe that even if they're not directly managing the contract paperwork, they still need to understand what's in the contracts, knowing the terms, deliverables, payment schedules, etc. can make a huge difference when trying to avoid delays, or confusion. For me, that knowledge makes a PM more effective.

The second point tha I found interesting was how program managers need to stay connected to the logistics process. I believe logistics can make or break a program. If the supplies or equipment aren't in the right place at the right time, it doesn't matter how great the plan looks on paper. I believe, it's a reminder that good communication between teams and staying involved in logistics decisions are just as important as tracking deadlines or costs.

In conclusion, I believe being knowledgeable contracting and logistics, will help Program Managers lead smarter and handle issues before they become bigger problems.
