(15 points.)(This is taken from Section 3.5 Problem 27 in your textbook.) The upper portion of this noble beast (see picture below) is to be approximated using clamped cubic spline interpolation. The curve is drawn on a grid from which the table is constructed (see table below the picture). Use the algorithm for a clamped cubic spline (which you created in the previous part) to construct the three cubic polynomials S1(x),S2(x), and S3(x) that outline the top of the dog as shown in the grid below. Please write down the equations for each of these cubic polynomials as well as the intervals they are each defined over. Then, graph the cubic splines on the same figure in Octave and attach your picture. Please also make sure to include all work, including any commands entered into Octave and/or done on paper. (Note: The text uses x0 as the first node, but in class we started with x1. Therefore, in the table below, you may want to start the column for i at i=1 instead of i=0 so that the node labeling agrees with what we have done in class.)
