When it comes to reliable transportation whether you are taking a bus, car, train or even plane there are certain time hacks that need to be met. As humans if we are on a time crunch we don't like to be late but as we all know certain things happen in life and that can be unreliable transportation. As the United States has vast nodes of transportation to include bus, car, train or even plane it makes it easier for Americans to get from point A to point B. In the recent years of the COVID-19 pandemic this would close down a lot of the public transit around the United States and the world. As the COVID-19 pandemic would have third and order effects that can still be seen in present day 2023 like airline carriers having to delay or even cancel flights not having enough workers due to recent layoffs of airline pilots. Or even during the pandemic when most states would have lock downs or jobs were going to remote working from home bus companies would have to lay off or furlough so public transportation would be available to people that still had to go to work in person. The pandemic is just one instance of how Americas public transit systems can be affected. Factors or variables that I think would be positive for mass transit within the United States would be companies focusing on reliable schedules by also forecasting employees if there is ever another pandemic that effects the United States.
