Question: How do you make a javascript code that sends text data to another user after you press a button and a way to make it

How do you make a javascript code that sends text data to another user after you press a button and a way to make it generate a random but limit range of points?

Eg. If I type and send something to another user. I will recieve a random value between 0-5 points and if I send something something again, it will always add on to the previous value.
