A lot has changed in the past 30 years, and I would say for the better. Is it perfect in the United State, I would say no. Jane Elliot would have seen the change from the 1960s to the 1990s. But we are moving in the right direction. If you treat anyone rudely and treat someone with disrespect because of the color of their skin, this is wrong, and we all know this now.
