How would I use the MARS model to explain the drop in performance. I would evaluate the their motivation, ability, role perception and, situational factors. Motivation is measured by ones ability to either motivate themselves or others, if someone lacls motivation than their iterest does not lay with the comapnies, Ablility is measured by someones training, what is the individuals ability to produce? Ability coms from personal experience and training. Role Expierence is simply someone understanding their role in the part and completing their task to standard. Siruational factors include time, budget, team members...etc In this case I would explain what went wrong and what went right and the training that went into this, some factors can't be explained and that they're are simply out of our hands. When systems go down we are in todays society left at the curb wainting for technology to fix itself
