UCC Ensures Safety, Productivity, and Transparency Amid Minor Chemical Leak

To prevent speculation and uphold our commitment to integrity, safety, fluid operations, and continued productivity to support those we serve, we are reporting today that a minor chemical leak occurred at one of our facilities. Our professionals have the highest confidence and assure everyone there is no indication of risk to the local community, our employees, or those we serve with our products. Operations at UCC have not been impacted and we expect to continue meeting market demand and providing superior products. UCC will be conducting an investigation to establish causation for this incident and to continue refining our processes and procedures to avoid future similar incidents in an effort to provide an even safer environment for our employees and the surrounding community. We will be seeking outside agency collaboration in this effort for an independent and impartial evaluation.
