The bank employs five full$-$time training professionals in its $$staff training college.$$ Despite doing a large amount of training every year, questions have been raised as to the relevance and value of that training for bank employees. The chair of the bank, along with the bank$$s governing council, hired external consultants to evaluate all aspects of training and development at the bank, including how training needs were identified and then translated into training programs.
