The case in focus deals with one of largest meat processing company in the world, Tyson Foods, Inc. Assignment Questions In the case, Tyson Foods is faced with a controversy regarding its Muslim employees. As an investigator, your job is to answer two questions. 1. Do any of Tyson Food' policies violate the Alberta Human Rights Act? (Pretend the case takes place in Alberta.) If so, then indicate exactly which sections of the legislation have been violated, and explain why you think the policy is a violation. If no, explain why the policy is in accordance with the Act. 2. Does Tyson Foods have a duty to accommodate the demands of its Muslim employees? In your answer, make sure you explain whether Tyson Foods' policy would satisfy the Meiorin test, and the three factors behind the principle of accommodation: individualization, dignity, inclusion
