Post an example of a scenario that would warrant either a one-sample or a two-sample test. This can be a hypothetical example or one found in the media.

Please, clearly

1. state H₀ and H₁ in the proper format using algebraic symbols,
2. explain why your hypothetical example qualifies as either a one-sample or two-sample hypothesis test.
3. state the reason(s) this hypothesis test would be conducted.

You do not actually have to complete the remaining steps in hypothesis testing. Please recognize that one- and two-sample hypothesis tests are not the same as one- and two-tail hypothesis tests.
