Hypothesis Testing

1. Using the table as a jumping off point, Do some internet research to formulate a Hypothesis related to the table on SELECTED SOCIAL CHARACTERISTICS IN THE UNITED STATES, link to the excel file of the table: (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1-B9ChcShozhvn-zpbUobnO3ILgHDvxcu/edit?usp=sharing&ouid=104876281919584228275&rtpof=true&sd=true). You have a lot of latitude on this. And the Hypothesis can be worded any way that you like. But it needs to be able to use a combination of Quantitative Variables and/or Categorical Variables, so that you can perform a Statistical Hypothesis Test on your Postulate.

1. Type up the hypothesis test in Word (or Google docs) using the correct type of test for your variable. Based on your type of Postulate/Hypothesis, it'll be one of the following:
   1. One Proportion Z Test (testing a theory about a population proportion)
   2. One Mean (Use the T-Test, not Z-Test, since we don't know Sigma)
   3. Two Independent Means (2 Sample T-Test, comparing the means to one another)
   4. Matched Pairs (use T-test, with differences comparing before/after an experiment)
   5. Chi-Square Test for Independence (comparing two Categorical Variables for Independence)
