Allen, Baker, Carson, and David enter into a business deal where they agree to recycle metal from out of state so that they can capture large profits from the California recycling industry. The business becomes so profitable that they each make $$100,000$ in the first year of operation.

At night, Allen and Baker drive to David$$s new house with each of them carrying a handgun. On the way, Allen and Baker call Carson and tell him to meet them at David$$s house in $30$ minutes. Carson says that he is withdrawing from the plan. Carson then calls David to warn him about Allena and Baker. David arms himself with a firearm and waits in the hallway for Allen and Baker.

Allen and Baker arrive at David$$s house and break open the front door. Allen and Baker see a shadowy figure in the hall. Allen and Baker are frightened and immediately fire their weapons at the shadowy figure which turns out to be David. David, who is an expert shooter, fires one shot and kills Baker instantly. Allen runs out of the house.
