I am working on creating tables with data in oracle sql. I have created the first table and created my second table. I started to add the data line by line. The issue is that there is data that is the same in several different lines of the table. It will only let me add information in once when I need it listed for several. Below is the chart I am creating (RECIPE)
RECIPE Table
| Ice_cream_ID | Ingredient_ID | Quantity used/pint |
1000 | 30
1000 | 75
1000 | 55
1100 | 40
1100 | 45
1200 | 25
1200 | 20
1200 | 45
1200 | 40
1300 | 35
1300 | 80
1300 | 50
1400 | 15
1400 | 10
1400 | 27.5
1500 | 10
1500 | 5.5
1500 | 60
1700 | 5
1700 | 10
I used coding INSERT INTO RECIPE VALUES ('101', '1000', '30'); for the first line. When I went to do the second line the same way it caused an error due to '1000' already being in the first line. How do I bypass this? I am getting an ORA-00001 Unique Constraint
