I can't do for every action, but for a lot of them I stop and think, "Would I want my mom to see what I'm doing right now?" This usually stops me and causes me to ponder: Am I being a person of integrity? Am I being truthful here? And other kinds of virtuous questions arise. It's a good virtue ethics-type of thought experiment, I believe. What do you think? Is it a good thought experiment for business decisions?
