In non-profit organizations, where resources are often scarce, ensuring employee well-being becomes even more critical. This study aims to examine how environmental and ergonomic factors affect the physical and mental health as well as productivity of workers in Pretoria based non-profit organizations located in South Africa. Air quality, temperature levels, and noise can significantly impact an employee's comfort level (Smith 2018) . Meanwhile, ergonomic elements relate to designing workstations or equipment that adapts proper skills for people with disabilities equivalent tasks such individuals perform efficiently too (Johsnon2020). Non-profits face unique challenges like limited funding availability, which may be vital issues that hinder their performance (Moyo, 2017). By exploring these relationships further, this paper seeks solutions on ways NPOs could alleviate those workplace-based issues resulting from backlashes affecting activities, ultimately causing massive effects due to individual stress produced.
