I got started in social media by using Facebook back in $2006.$ These were the early days and the beginning of social media. We had MySpace, Twitter and Facebook was slowly emerging and YouTube was becoming more and more popular every day. There were a few other platforms coming out. I found I fell into the personal aspect of it had visible profiles created. But as time has passed my personal preferences in social media have changed with the change in access and platforms available. I find as I am getting older, I feel less interested in using these platforms for what they are intended for and I now use them more often for informational and entertainment purposes with mostly video watching on Tik$-$Tok and YouTube now. As for Linkedin, I use this as a means to get my name out there for networking and job hunting. reply to post
