The report should provide easy-to-understand, graphical summanies of your project team's analysis and then provide a set of written recommendations concerning, optimal shift schedules, material handling solutions, when to hire additional employees as a function of service demand, when to purchase additional equipment as a function of service demand, and production control logic. plan to use to conduct the project. The final report should show, using a project management tool, both the planned and actual time and resources used over the curse of the project. The System Definition and Conceptual Model Formulation sections should provide the reader with a good understanding of the system and the modeling strategies you plan to use to accurately represent the system. This should include the objective function used to determine the best system configuration. This section should also describe the types of experiments you plan to run to answer the questions the simulation has been designed to answer. In Input Data Preparation, provide tables for the input data your team has used to construct the model. In the Model Translation section of the report, I would like pictures of the major model sections you have developed. As a part of the final report, I will need a copy of your Simulation Model and all supporting files which you will upload into the Canvas class page. The Final Experimental Design section should present your rational for selecting model run length, number of iterations, and warmup period philosophies. This section should also introduce the simulation run results contained in the Experimentation section of the report. The Analysis and Interpretation section should show in easy to. understand graphs and tables the findings of your study. The Implementation section of your project report must provide recommendations based on these results. This section should indicate what actions MedAssist should take to implement the most efficient system. The Documentation phase of your project will be satisfied by your final report. Description of MedAssist's Warranty and Medical Equipment Lease Operations Three classes of equipment are sent to MedAssist's facility: a) Lease Return Units, b) In-House Repair Units, and c) 3rd Party Repair Units. MedAssist provides equipment to three large Medical Equipment Leasing Companies. The agreements with these companies include an equipment swap program where previously leased equipment is returned to Medassist where it is re-calibrated and refurbished as needed and then returned to the Leasing Companies ready to be leased to a new customer. MedAssist also has to support its product waranty program. MedAssist performs repair operations on four new products that are currently part of its equipment lease operations. The company also sells this equipment directly to end users for long-term use. MedAssist also sub-contracts its repair operations to several 3rd party repair facilities for its older, more established products.
