I. INTRODUCTION

IT Management is a dynamic field. The textbook already covers a lot of important topics of IT Resource Management. The aim of this project is to compliment the materials covered in the textbook. Each team selects a specific topic, explore further on that topic, write a report on the topic, and then share its findings with all other classmates in the form of a short presentation. With the collective work, we could all benefit from the IT Resource Management.

Number of students per team: 4-5 Students

II. ASSIGNMENT OBJECTIVES

Demonstrate information systems management knowledge through working on writing a report with a group of students, and present the final deliverables in the class.

• Identify an emerging topic in IT Resource Management.
• Explain how it can help to make better management decision making
• Explain how this topic can take advantage of emerging technologies
• Learning how to write a technical analysis report.
• Learning how to prepare a presentation and how to present a technical analysis.
• Describe the role of HR in problem solving within digital organizations
• Describe how governance structure can be designed

IV. PROJECT SUMMARY

Each team should select a specific topic, explore further on that topic, and then document the findings in a report not less than 10 pages and not more than 12 pages, and present and submit the findings using PowerPoint slides. The report should be submitted and the PowerPoint slides should be presented and submitted on the presentation day.

This academic activity allows students to share their findings with all other classmates and encourages peer to peer learning.

- Provide a clear report structure by providing the table of contents of your project report. Number of pages required = 10-12 pages

- Write the body and the conclusion of your project report to explain your findings of the topic that you selected from the list above.
