In one type of design | read, the researcher manipulates one variable known as the independent variable to see how it affects another variables. the other one | read was the dependent variable. This setup offers a high level of control, making the results more reliable and accurate. To give You a better understanding I'll explain an example, if a person wanted to test whether more study time improves test scores, we could design an experiment where we change how much time each group spends studying the independent variable and then measure the number of test errors they make the dependent variable. Since we control the study time, we can more confidently say it caused any difference in performance. Compared to non-experimental methods like correlational research, which can only show that two things are related, experimental designs let us dig deeper and figure out why things happen. That's why | believe experimental research is the most scientificit allows us to test real-world questions in a structured, meaningful way. Reply | & Mark as Unread
