I need a lot of help with this script! it needs to show urgency how much we need their contribution today through our phone. I also need to build more rapport, in the beginning, to have them open up even if they are cold and short on time. Further, I need to stress about all the great benefits they will receive. If you could please provide me with two versions! Thank you for your anticipated help!
Script that needs revision
Hi, this is Jennifer calling from the Paramount & Stateside Theatre. How is your day going? I am so glad to hear that! I am just calling for a couple of quick things.
First, thank you so much for being such an important part of our audience family. Your presence at our performances means everything to us, and we truly appreciate your support.
I noticed you joined us for[SHOW NAME]. What brought you down for that? It's always wonderful to hear about our patron's experiences!
The Paramount is just such a magical place with a rich history. Did you know it opened its doors on October 11, 1915? And in 1916 the famous Harry Houdini performed 8 shows here, completing an escape challenge from five University of Texas students which he successfully completed! You can still see a hole carved to the left of Saint Cecilia from one of his suspended levitation ticks that remains there today! Did you notice it during your last visit?
The main reason for my important call today is to share some exciting news about all the incredible work we are doing off the stage. Many people don't realize this, but our theatre runs several outreach and educational programs that have a significant impact on underprivileged children in our community. We are currently helping 22,000 children and families annually in central Texas, but there are so many more who could really benefits from our programs!
Are you familiar at all with any of our outreach and educational programs? We offer a range of programs for these children from summer camps and field trips to songwriting workshops and so much more and all come with scholarship opportunities!
One program special to me is The Paramount Story Wranglers in schools. We bring in professional arts educators into classrooms for a seven-week residency, who work directly with the students to teach them the fundamentals of creative writing through arts-integrated lessons. These lessons significantly enhance their writing and vocabulary skills and gives them such a boost of confidence!!!! Then at the end of the residency, students get to see their original stories come to life on stage in a live performance by our Paramount Story Wranglers, in front of the entire school and their families. Doesn't that sound wonderful for these children who would not otherwise have access to such arts education opportunities?
I just can't stress enough how impactful our programs are for these children. They create lifelong memories and foster remarkable growth. In fact, 100% of teachers involved in the Paramount Story Wranglers have observed significant improvements in students' writing and social-emotional growth, while nearly all the student's express pride in their writing and expanded vocabulary skills.
When you were in school, did you participate in any artistic programs? Do you feel that it impacted you in any way? Wouldn't you agree that arts education is important for a child's development?
I appreciate your understanding of the importance of such programs.
Don't you agree that every child deserves access to arts education that enhances their writing skills, vocabulary, and prepares them for their future?
As a non-profit theatre, we do rely heavily on the generosity of our community to continue offering these life-changing programs like the Paramount Story Wranglers in schools and all the other great programs we offer to these underprivileged children. However, these programs are in jeopardy and will not survive because ticket sales barely cover half of our annual operating budget! Your contribution today through our phone campaign can make a tremendous difference in the lives of these children, empowering them to unlock their full potential.
AND In return for your support, we have arranged a collection of outstanding benefits for our donors, especially if you enjoy coming out for movies, films, and live performances.
We have various levels of giving, all with amazing benefits, and every contribution will have a direct impact on these kids. For instance, with a donation of $1,000, or ten monthly payments of $100, you can significantly support these programs. Your generosity will help us continue transforming the lives of children in our community.
We really could use your contribution today! How about it? You are not only getting great benefits, but you are investing in these children's lives
Your generosity will make a lasting impact on arts and education in our community. If you donate $250 or more today, you will receive two complimentary tickets for some amazing shows I have available like Christopher Cross.
Thank you so much for considering this opportunity to invest in the lives of these children. We truly appreciate your support.
