I NEED A REPLY TO THE FOLLOWING DISCUSSION POST PLEASE: This week, there was one disorder that stood out as interesting to me from the DSM-5. It is the Antisocial Personality Disorder [APD]. What is fascinating about this disorder is that it is transformative - beginning with conduct disorder when the individual is younger (APA, 2013) and then the development of APD when the individual reaches adulthood. I did some research and found an article, using the Mental Measurements Yearbook (MMY), on a particular assessment tool for identifying APD. The assessment tool I found is the Comprehensive Addictions And Psychological Evaluation -5 [CAAPE-5]. This tool utilizes 150 questions in interview form, where only forty questions apply to Personality Disorders (Hoffmann, 2017).
