I NEED A REPLY TO THIS DISCUSSION POST PLEASE: I find obsessive-compulsive disorder interesting. In the Mental Measurements Yearbook I found a tool that is useful for helping to determine if someone could have obsessive-compulsive disorder called the Clark-Beck Obsessive-Compulsive Inventory. It states 25 symptoms, 14 obsessions and 11 compulsions, and the client is to select the statement that best describes their experiences as they relate to the symptoms, that they have experienced in the past two weeks (Cellucci, 2005). I believe this is a beneficial tool to use in order to help determine if a client has obsessive-compulsive disorder.
