Here are the directions: The purpose of this module is to brainstorm situations where Excel can be used to address a situation in a person's job. Each student will then take one topic related to their future career and develop a worksheet to address it. Students should be able to: 1. develop if and vlookup statements (must have both in your career project or will lose the majority of the credit) 2. develop formulas abiding by the rules that Excel understands (parenthesis first, exponents next, multiplication, division, addition and subtraction), and to overwrite that order, you must use parenthesis. Make sure that any sum formula does not have math operators inside, all I should see is a , or : 3. create worksheets that address topics in the Business world 4. review worksheets to eliminate errors or address different topics 5. understand that there are multiple ways to address the same issue in Excel 6. make sure to have $ signs anywhere they are needed. Each item above will be reviewed and you will lose credit for any missing items.
