VM$\text{'}$s are useful machines that help save space and can be access from anywhere with an internet access. It's also a digital forensics tool that allows exerts to isolate and test malware with. In a word, its like a sandbox they can use to test things and help identify artifacts left behind by others. They are used to preserve evidence and to recreate attack scenarios. I think its a $7/10$because it's important to know what VM$\text{'}$s are and what their used for, but it's not like crazy important or something new to me at the moment. I don't really have any questions to leave behind except how VM$\text{'}$s actually came to be$.$
