1. Indeterminate sentencing is like giving someone 5-10 years, for 3-5 years. The date isn't set because it is going to depend on how the defendant behaves in prison. Indeterminate sentencing is done in hopes that people will rehabilitate. Criminal record depends on sentencing because, if someone has done time before and has reoffended, it means they haven't learned their lesson, so the judge might give them a longer sentence trying to straighten them out.

2. The internet and how it is used is very important to our national security, especially when we are talking about terrorists. Terrorists can us the internet to recruit people into their organizations and they can also use the internet to discuss terror techniques. These are important because the more recruits that they get, the more man power they have which leads to more attacks. Without man power, these terrorist groups aren't able to carry out their planned attacks and eventually their groups would fall apart. The second topic is on their terror techniques. These groups or organizations are able to share their techniques, on the internet, so everyone can see. This is dangerous to national security because anyone is able to use them, whenever and wherever they want.
